Book update 5 Almost done!

The book is almost complete.  I am waiting on two editors to finish up and the cover is a step and a half away from completion.

I have started work on the next book, though it is still in the preliminary stages and will not be ready to be written for a while, since this is still the planning stages.  My thoughts are that I should be done with the preliminary story outline by end of march and I should be started writing in the beginning of April.

So, I am also going to be starting up a new project with Ryan Cabral.  We started pitching ideas around the other day for a graphic novel.  More updates on that in the future.

In the meantime, here is the new cover art by Ryan Cabral.

UPDATE!

A Scholar's Journey: The Divine Tempest has been released and is currently available on Amazon and smashwords as an ebook.  After editing review, the hard copy will be available.

Book update 4!

The book is written!  Seriously, this rocks so much!  Now, I am almost done with editing, 35 pages left.  After that, I am hands off.

In the mean time, more amazing artwork by Ryan Cabral.  This is the most recent update and it is beyond words.

Book Update 3

The editing is going great, though it is taking a bit longer that I thought it would.  Though, this is the first time I have ever edited a book.

Currently, I am on 142 of 250 total.  I should be done by Saturday or Sunday.

I passed up the main hard part and now its going pretty quick.  The biggest issue that I am having is the story starters and the chapter names, though t may sound strange, I want to make sure that they fit.

Now, here is some more updated artwork for the cover by Ryan Cabral.

Book update 2

The book is finished!  Yes!  It is done!
In the end it was about 85,000 words or so, 240 pages, 25 chapters.  I feel very good about the ending and I have to say that I think you guys will like it when you read it.

Now, I have to get started on my personal editing, to fill in any continuity gaps and to make sure it all sounds right.

This should be done around the 6th of February, I know I said the 5th, but I want to take my time and do it right rather than hastily.  After that, it goes to editors for roughly 15 days or so.  Then, after a bit of finagling in order to get the formatting right, it is off to the presses.

In the meantime, here is a look at some of the new concepts for the cover art by Ryan Cabral.
